Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia is a very special event raising awareness of hemophilia and funds for HFM’s programs and services for all people affected in the bleeding disorders community.
Come joing us Sunday, August, 29, 2010 at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak. Registration begins at 7:45a with the Walk beginning at 8:45a.
The cost is $15 per person and you'll receive all day admission to the zoo, refreshments and a Walk t-shirt. Children under 2 are free. Please keep in mind this event is a FUNDRAISER and there are costs associated with admission to the zoo, Walk t-shirts, and refreshments.
Everyone is welcome to participate! Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the zoo.
NEW for 2010: For every contribution of $100 made, the individual donor’s name will be put in a drawing for three exciting prizes! These prizes include: A 50” Plasma TV, an Apple iPad, and an Amazon Kindle. Winners will be drawn immediately after the Walk ends at 10:30am on the Grassy Knoll at the Detroit Zoo. Winners need not be present.
Example: John Smith donates $500 to Sally Jones, captain of Team ABC. John Smith's name will be put in the drawing five times.
Donate to your favorite team captain, walker or directly to HFM online or mail your donations to HFM by Wednesday, August 25, 2010 to be considered for the drawing. Donations made after that date will NOT be included.
